About
This is a bakery/caf' situated in the center of Lom. I was surprised it wasn't listed. It is a very nice place, and a must for those who just need a coffeebrake and a snack. The manager used to be a Chef, and still is offcourse, but he started this bakery and launched a cookbook in 2009. The book was awarded "norwegian cookbook of the year" in 2009. I really hope you list this one, together with the restaurant in the Fossheim Turisthotell.Details

Had a quick lunch here but the high rated reviews are right- we tried the pastries and they were excellent, plus for aussies the espresso based white coffees were great. Perfect comfort food after a hike!
Well worth the stop in Lom for this bakery. The coffee is good but the cinnamon buns or pistachio rolls are the best.They have toilets also.
If you walk up both stairs you can sit at one of the two tables at the top outside and have a great view of the water rushing by bellow.
The place is amazing, this is by the river and very nice place to drink and eat lunch. The coffee was great, and there are great desserts. (Especially the Norwegian coconut cake).
Take away goods for us; exceptional quality bakery. Fill up your wohnwagens! Bread, raisin buns and danish straight from glowing in shop ovens. Yummie!
Not the easiest place to find, needed to ask for directions. People know about it as it was very busy. Would like to have tried more, but the pastry’s we had was excellent.They have eat in, but we took ours to go.
