Masamama is the first 100% sourdough bakery in Arequipa. We began in our baker's backyard with an adobe ovenwhich we quickly outgrewabout 2 years ago. We are inspired to bring delicious and nutritious old-world style breads to this beautiful city. We are committed to using ingredients only as we find them in nature, and for this we are building long-lasting relationships with small farmers and producers to whom we pay fair prices for the best regional products. We look forward to your visit to our caf where you will find artisanal pastries made with freshly milled whole grains and seasonal fruits, house made kombucha, locally roasted coffee, and a rotating menu of hot pressed sandwiches and tartines with local and global flavors.
