The power of the Pachamama, or Mother Earth, is displayed on the dining tables of PACHAPAPA in the form of the noble foods with which she regales us. Like a ritual pulsing with energy, mealtime becomes a revelation as the aromas of the Andes waft out of the earth oven in the central courtyard, or our slow-cooked dishes emerge from clay pots, infused with generous flavors. Rustic and rural, PACHAPAPA is located in an old mansion in the traditional neighborhood of San Blas, or T'oqokachi, across from the Church of San Blas, the oldest in Cusco. Offering traditional dishes from Cusco and more, in an atmosphere that pays homage to the region’s customs, art, and mystique, local handicrafts and cuisine that have been passed down from generation to generation are now ready for the spotlight on the international stage.
