"Los Esteros de Tumbes" is a seafood restaurant, established in 1994 by a group of people that decided to promote the real northern peruvian flavor in the capital city. "Esteros of Tumbes" refer to the estuaries and mangrove swamps in the northern region of the city of Tumbes, in the border of Peru and Ecuador, where the Anadara tuberculosa (Conchas negras in Spanish, or Black ark in English) are collected. Over time, this small family business has grown and improved, being nowadays one of the main points of meeting for the most refined palates and connoisseurs in the country. Through the use of high quality products, "Los Esteros de Tumbes" seeks to provide all customers with an unforgettable culinary experience, without losing that home-made northern touch that characterizes them from over 23 years.
