Created in 1963 by Don Eliseo reategui and Mrs. Arcemia Sanchez, Shambo ice creams are an amazonian tradition that delights locals and tourists visiting Iquitos. In its well-known place on Grau Avenue, where the company was founded, visitors can find pure pulp ice cream with exotic fruits such as aguaje, ungurahui, camu camu, copoazu, cocona, coconut, araz, and many more.
