Nice place for any time of day and night, friendly environment, very good service and selected music. Located in the heart of Puno, La Casa del Corregidor is a historical monument dating back to 1668. Seven of us went for a meal and all the food was amazing. Looked like they were shut but we persisted and it was worth it!
We wanted to have a light meal so choose this restaurant as it had tapas. These were Peruvian style tapas that were all excellent. The service from Rosa was polite, quick, and friendly.
We went for coffee and it turned out good. Then we felt a bit hungry so we asked for a chicken empanadas. It is HUGE with loads of fillings. So good. Love it.
We saw the restaurant but ended up in the bar. It was not a busy evening, but we enjoyed the wine, beer and food. Choices for the beer are really good.
Love this little hidden gem. Try eggplant sandwich. Just go. It’s a gem! I went back every night. Lived the atmosphere, music, great for solos.
