  Another cool place to visit in Tagaytay! Girasol is a modern restaurant that invites the rays of the sun in the morning thru its big glass windows. The interior is spacious with neutral colors, simple and crisp details. They also offer affordable rooms for couples and families as well. Food choices ranges from pizzas, risottos, pastas and a lot more. Mushroom and Pepperoni 4/5 – the spicy pepperoni and mushroom are just the best pair to be in a pizza, Quattro Formaggi 5/5 – 4 cheeses: Mozarella, Brie, Gorgonzola and Parmesan, what can I ask for? Margherita 4/5 – Sun-riped tomatoes on fine mozarella and freh basil drizzled with olive oil. Chicken & Blue Cheese Risotto 5/5 – Though a little bit salty I find this dish comforting with pan-seared chicken breast on a blue cheese risotto topped with parmesan tuile. Prawn Risotto 5/5 – Sauteed prawn in creamy risotto on a bed of saffron sauce and topped with parmesan tuile. Pancetta and Mushroom 5/5 – carbonara like pasta with slices og pancetta and sauteed mushrooms with creamy sauce topped with parmesan tuile. Seafood Verdure 4/5 – a medley of smoked and dried seafood with bits of green and topped with parmesan tuile. Tomato Bolognese 3/5 – Ground beef in zesty tomato sauce infused with aromatic spices, arugula and pecorino cheese. Crispy fried chicken 3/5 – crispy chicken skin and juicy meat, though dip used could be improved. Eggs Benedict 3/5 – that breakfast thing with runny eggyolk with bacon just makes someone’s day complete.
