  They got some nice interiors and the location is just perfect. You can see an overlooking view of Taal. They have a relaxing ambiance especially at night when the lights are on and the music is live. Service is excellent.They offer traditional Filipino cuisines with a twist. We got to try the Bulalo Kare-kare which uses a bulalo beef instead. It was tender and the sauce was soooo thick and peanutty.I also like the Bagnet Laing though I think it needs to have a stronger taste (because before heading here, I ate laing in a different restarant). I like how there are big parts of bagnet on a laing.They also have a different kind of nachos. They used molo wrappers to create this appetizer. They also topped it with turmeric chicken.I can easily taste the Squid Ink flavor of their pancit.Try the Tawilis as well. It was good!!

  Bar and Restaurant with the Al Fresco feels!!! The Cabanas Dine and Bar is the perfect place to chill in Tagaytay, may it be with your family, friends or just an alone time.With the green scenery, clear sky and cold breeze, let us devour the savory dishes that they offer.Here are some of their must try dishes:Onion Rings 4/5- good and crispy and i love the alioli garlic dip (5/5 for the dip)Potato Chips 3/5- could be improve perfect with the dip too.Nachos 4/5- a different kind of topping for a change.Mozza Pops 5/5- i liked that it is bite size and of course I love cheese plus the wonderful dip.Tawilis ala Gambas 3/5- not a fan but its good.Cabanas Bulalo 5/5- Oh that comfort food of every Filipino, I loved how balanced it tasted and the meat’s serving size is generous ha!Bulalo Kare Kare 5/5- who would say no to this wonderdul dish plus its bulalo!Bagnet Laing 4/5- taste was good but could be improved. I think the bagnet should be chopped into bite size instead.Cabanas Chicken 4/5- chicken is juicy and savory.Pansit Pusit 5/5- interestingly good!And for the desserts:4 Ways Cheesecake 3/5- Consistency and consistency could be improved, since I am aiming for that real cheesecake taste.Fruit Fritter 5/5- this one is an awesome dessert, a must try!Mango Graham Shake 4/5- taste as it is! HahahaOh and the best part I liked here was the Aglio Garclic Dip, tama ba ako?   We people go to Tagaytay, ang una talagang priority is the view. Sa food naman basta tagaytay, masarap eh! Haha. Anyway, dito sa Cabanas Dine and Bar, sobrang panalo kasi ang ganda na ng view, maganda pa ang interiors and ang sarap pa ng food!Yung restaurant is an open dining area, may bar for prep ng cocktails. And may enclosed glass dining area na kahit saan ka lumingon ang ganda ng view!Food: Pinoy food + Western appetizers + cocktails. Complete na for barkada chill sa gabi, family day sa hapon. Favorite ko yung (1) Bulalo Kare-kare , (2) Bulalo (3) Tawilis , and (4) Pancit pusit.
