  Pasta is really bland and saggy. The pizza has less toppings than our expectations than what they used to have during magallanes days. Their mozarella sticks doesn’t have that crunchy texture that it supposed to have. The price is too pricey compared to the quality of the food.

  It is our first time to eat in their new location. I like the feel of their old location than now. The ambiance now is less classier than before. Cost of their food doesn’t match the ambiance. Their pizzas still taste good. For the smoked salmon, there are only few strips of it. The carbonara that they served is overcooked and tastes bland. The spicy wings and the chicken on the pesto pasta are too salty. I’m quite disappointed on our recent dine-in experience.

  We are a regular at Carlos Pizza even before it transferred to Serin. We always enjoy its pizza for its thin, crunchy crust and generous toppings. I was in the mood to post a review, and I was ready to give Carlos Pizza a 5 star rating I think it deserves, but there is always room for improvement to achieve that wow factor. The chili and cheese had sourness to it, almost as sour as the vinegar dip of the Baguio longganisa (Yes. I had craving for breakfast food late at night. It was the last call). The carbonara pasta was surprisingly bland. Really bland. Like it was completely missing parmesan cheese or any salty cheese for that matter. Nestlè cream is quite more tasty in comparison. The salmon pizza did not have enough pizza sauce and cheese, and the salmon toppings was not sufficient considering the value we paid for it. The capriccioso was ok, more pizza sauce and cheese than the salmon pizza, but it also needs a little bit more sauce and toppings. The watermelon shake needs additional watermelon or sweetener. Probably we came at a wrong time where everyone were rushing to finish the shift so each can go home, but it shouldn’t be the reason to sacrifice the quality of the food because we paid more than P2000 for this decent cravings (plus P190+ service charge). Considering the growth of Tagaytay as a food trip destination, with our favorite Deli De San Honore’s affordable yet 5 star pizza comparable to the late Tosca of Dusit Thani Manila, Carlos Pizza should maintain, if not improve, excellent quality if it needs to survive in its current low traffic, non-scenic location. Staff were friendly and attentive, and I would like to congratulate Carlos Pizza for being not discriminative of age (I noticed this a few weeks ago we were there before this one) and status in hiring employees. I salute Carlos Pizza on that. Till our next visit with better and improved food quality.

  When we first visited the place near Serin, we ordered BBQ Chicken Pizza, Quattro Formaggi, Mozzarella Sticks and Nachos. The pizzas were so delicious and flavorful! Best pizza ever! Also the nachos. Kumpleto sya sa cheeses (including mozzarella cheese) with jalapeño peppers, meat, olives.. The best nachos I ever tasted. Super satisfied ang craving. Mozzarella sticks were fine.Then I went back alone and ordered Chicken with Mashed potatoes. The fried chicken is very satisfying, crunchy and flavorful sya. Kaso yung mashed potatoes, walang lasa. I suggest they improve the recipe ng mashed potatoes, kasi pag walang gravy hindi mo na makain.But overall, masarap dito! Will deff try more of their pizzas!
