I wish I had considered the low rating before coming to this branch of Loumar’s. Went to the Ayala Serin branch (we were a group of seven), and as soon as we got inside, we were hit with the strong smell of moldy wood. It was made worse by the bad ventilation and dark lighting. I wanted to give the food a chance so we decided to settle outside where the Tagaytay wind was cooler. They seated us in 2 connecting tables. I quickly realized that one of the tables was wobbly. It was unsafe because simply putting my elbow’s weight on it would tip it over. (Imagine the horror if there was hot bulalo in it.) I tried to raise this concern to the staff but she just looked at me with an annoyed expression. To our frustration we transferred to nearby LZM where they had great food and service.Hope they would address this before harm is done. The odor might mean there could be mold hiding in the ceiling and walls (mold with spores could be dangerous) and the wobbly table is unsafe if you are serving hot soup.
I gave 4 stars just because there was a live singer. Food servings was plenty, ambience is quite nice, but the person on the front desk is not welcoming
Ambience is ok however some food served were not cooked properly. We ordered sinigang sa miso, halabos na hipon and inihaw na liempo. But the liempo was poorly cooked, medyo reddish pa ung meat and maasim when tasted. Had to call the waiter to ask if meat was fresh kasi nga maasim. Then they just re-heated it and add some bbq sauce para mawala ung asim na lasa. Di na rin nin kinain afterwards.

Delicious Pinoy food in generous servings. Nice ambiance. I would have given a 4 or 5 had the servers been more welcoming and attentive. We have seated for quite a while before they gave the menu though there were not a lot of guests at that time.
