We saw the FB post of this resto, only came here to eat due to the Taal Lake view, but since it was raining hard at that time, they let us eat inside.Food:Their choices for meat is limited and too simple — they dont have marinated meats. They also don’t have steamed egg in the bowl.Ambiance/Cleanliness:There were flies flying around, which is really annoying. One even landed on my food when I was about to eat it. Their tiles are also slippery, so be careful when you dine here.If you are looking for authentic samgyupsal, there are many korean restos around Tagaytay. We paid 540 for each person, and it’s not worth it. Definitely a bad experience. Will not come back anymore.
Nice view and crew were VERY accomodating. They grant your request in a jiff. Food was okay. The only reason I’m not coming back are the flies. They are everywhere. And the management arent doing anything, it’s driving the customers away. I think they’re breeding them because the flies are BIG.
My family and I tried their unli Korean BBQ menu. The plus side is that you have a lot of side dishes. The negatives are that the meat is not seasoned and is cut a bit thick so it takes longer to cook; the area has this huge open sliding door to let the wind from the outside go in.. unfortunately, the flies go in as well, so you have to mindful of them going near your food 🙁
Great view. Poor service. At first, it was nice for them to call you once the table is all set (All your orders or the meat, side dishes, rice, drinks and all you need for the first set if you’ll be availing the unlimited beef and pork samgyup). But when your up for refilling, their buzz per table were useless. The service crews were not enough to serve/help the guests and we had to call the crews for what we need. Food is good but it just didn’t satisfied my taste buds. They offer only plain beef and pork unlike what other samgyup restaurants offer, like seasoned meats. They have limited side dishes but it’s pretty good and one is Chapchae ❤️YOU’RE DEFINITELY PAYING FOR THE VIEW HERE! IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. The cold breeze and overlooking taal volcano!
