Nothing too special, just another average barbecue place. The pork BBQ sticks are kind of dry, chorizo is okay, but the pork belly is very good. Did not try the chicken or the rice.Parking is kind of complicated, but they have an assistant to help you park and back up.
The smell of grilled chicken meat is definitely inviting. People come in groups to have lunch or early dinner here. A must try el cheapo chicken barbecue place when in Cebu. Their chorizos and liempo are other great options. Just be ready to compete with the flies since you’ll be dining al fresco but under the big trees.
Love how I can bring my friends here and just have a casual lunch/dinner out with them! I love the barbecue so much! My go to barbecue place!
Definitely the go-to place for bbq cravings! If you’re new to Cebu, this should totally be in your places to try! A taste of Cebu and the price is really affordable!
Whenever I feel like eating some barbecue, I crave for Matias. I love everything about it here, even though some might see it as unsanitary. There are many flies that fly around, and if you ever order any shake, just know that they use tap water for it. I ordered mango shake last time I went there and I witnessed the lady put tap water into the blender along with the mango. It made me lose a bit of my appetite. Also, parking here is very limited. Avoid bringing your own car during peak hours.Pro tip: If you’re really hungry and your food isn’t there yet, make a sauce of vinegar and soy sauce and dip your puso there. I do that every time I wait for my food.
BBQ wasn’t the best for me but if you want not to spend too much, then this is the best place for you. You should bring more patience when you want to eat out here because it’s very crowded, esp. during payday. Their regular customers always go back for their tasty BBQ in affordable prices.
Im from bacolod so I’m gonna be quite biased with the inasal(nothing special) here but what i’m amazed here are the staff, eventhough the place is always crowded you wont wait long for your order to arrive and the staff are very quick and attentive so thumbs up for the good service.
