I went to Pitstop in Guimaras and decided to post my review here because there’s no Zomato in Guimaras. So I was only satisfied with the mango pizza the only special about it I think are the mangoes from Guimaras. I was not satisfied with the spaghetti and chicken curry so if ever you want to visit this restaurant please do not expect too much. Visit this place only for the unique mango pizza and mango shake. Nothing more, nothing less.
Servings are really small. Staff are very slow and they kept on talking. Though I would have to give points to the setting and set up as it is quite consistent to their chosen theme.

The Pitstop restaurant has a very small and unique place. I was amazed by the ambiance. The food is really affordable and they make dish with mangoes which is their specialty. The staff were accommodating and there is a band at night.
What I like here is their live band, thought lately it’s just the lone singer who sings here. He’s a very nice guy who accommodates every customer request he can. The ambiance is good but I’m afraid they will be closing soon bcs not a lot of people come here anymore. That will be sad bcs this is the specific Pitstop that I love.
I really don’t get the good reviews. We came here in the morning for breakfast. Seats were still resting on tables, and place had a musty/ moldy smell inside. Decor was incongruous – some made sense given the theme, others did not.We ordered the chorizo breakfast (2 sausages and egg served with rice) – the sausages were 95% fat. No exaggeration. The adobo with a twist was mango cubes and peanuts mixed with the chicken pieces. The flavor was delicious albeit lacking balance. We also ordered a pitcher of some tropical drink (Guimaras Sling, I think it was called) and it was too sweet. They did not have the mango pizza available, which was another letdown given it is the only thing they are known for.Service was excellent – there was one girl who seemed to be overworked, doing everything.Icing on the cake? The baby cockroach roaming on our table and chairs, You can imagine how dirty the kitchen must be.
The Mango Pizza was very delicious. The Carbonara was very good too. The singer performing was also very good. Plus it was not crowded at all. Definitely coming back! 🙂
