Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️During my first visit, I got to try Alonso’s lunch buffet. I could hardly stand up that time because I enjoyed the authentic Filipino dishes they served. It is, by far, the best humba I’ve tried! Please, don’t ever miss it, friends.My second was on a weekday so I got to choose from their menu. They’re quite generous on their portioning and I’m not surprised that every dish I’ve ordered was still delicious. The crispy pata had a perfect crisp and was oozing with flavors. I miss home so I ordered their native chicken and it did not disappoint. What is a Carcar visit without their famed lechon? Good thing I don’t need to go far because Alonso’s have it, too.Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️From its wooden chairs and tables, warm lighting to the native ornaments that give life to the place, you’ll definitely get that rustic vibe when you visit this diner. We were headed south so I’m so thankful the place had a well-maintained comfort room. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I don’t think I’ve come across servers as accommodating as the ones from Alonso’s. You, guys, deserve this five-star rating because of your wonderful and friendly service. I’ve been here twice and I’m still looking forward to my third visit!
Friends, We came across this new diner at the heart of Carcar City as we travelled to the southern side of Cebu this weekend. This place caught our attention by having a modern Filipino-inspired ambiance, which is very instagrammable. And the food? They also serve great filipino dishes that definitely burst with flavors on your palate. Lucky enough, they actually serve lunch buffet for only 229 php only! Affordable right?!
