Currently here in CNT. Walked all the way from SM Cebu with all my luggage just to try their lechon and they don’t even have it anymore! Their place looks sketchy too; the resto is in the second floor and there’s no aircon. I’m starving now and I have to move cause they don’t have food!
Probably the best lechon that I have ever tasted in Cebu. Crunchy and crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The taste is just right. CNT Lechon beats all the others who claim that their lechon cebu is “the best.” Price are also very reasonable. If you’re looking for ambiance though, CNT isn’t exactly the place to be. Dine here if it is honest to goodness lechon that you’re craving for, but for ambiance, this probably isn’t a good place to eat in. Takeout boxes are also being sold for convenient carry-on or takeaway as pasalubong to family and friends. The lechon according to them can last up to a month if placed on the freezer. I’d certainly be back in CNT if and when I get to visit Cebu once again in the future. angtakawko.blogspot.com
As part of our lechon hopping, we tried CNT Lechon in North Reclamation Area. We didn’t recognize that it’s a restaurant since it’s more like a parking building. The lechon is chopped in front of you which assures you for freshness. I love their Lechon! It’s sumptuous! The skin was crispy (just what I want my lechon to be), the meat was flavorful and the chewiness is really really good. It’s really something you will go back for more.I would’ve given it a 4 but the ambiance was bad. The place is very old and needs improvement. The utensils, food trays and some tables needs to be replaced. I don’t recommend spending long lunches here because of the poor lighting and ventilation. I hope this can be addressed soon.I suggest you visit early so you could have the freshly chopped parts. Also, if you want to buy a frozen lechon for pasalubong, reserve one before lunch then just return to pick it up before you go to the airport.
Went to visit the branch and they were not closed. They just had a renovation hence they closed for a few weeks. They are now open serving take out and few dishes for dine in. The staff told me that will fully operate serving other dishes by November.
CnT Lechon at North Reclamation Area is already closed as of 19 June 2019. We went there for lunch and the place is already abandoned. I suggest visiting their three other outlet stores.
September 2013Just dug up this picture from way back 2013 when I had a brief stint in Metro Cebu. The best Lechon in Metro Cebu that I’ve ever tasted, hands down.I also tried Ayer Lechon, Rico’s Lechon and Zubuchon in Cebu but for me it’s CnT
One of Cebu’s oldest and finest lechons (roast pig). I’ve done my RRL (Review of Related Lechons) earlier this year but I failed to visit their flagship branch at Cebu’s reclamation. So the first thing on my agenda upon my latest trip to Cebu was to head off to taste their lechon. Alas, it was way after lunch and their legendary pig was almost sold-out. I had to settle for scraps and legs. Nonetheless, Ben these did not disappoint. The lechon was tasty and not too salty. It was the epitome of what Cebusno lechon is all about. I would have given a perfect 5 if not for the old, dirty, hot, carideria vibe. Plus, next I should get the chance parts.
