Love at first bite aptly describes my initial encounter with the deliciously sweet cakes of Moshi Manju. Ever since our youngest son, our resident sweets expert, introduced me to these tiny waffle-like cakes with creamy Choco & Pastillas de Leche (milk candy) fillings, it won me over instantly. Once you try it, there is no turning back. A box (Big box-24 pcs, Php 92) of these sugary delights is the perfect take-home gift for your kids. Trust me, they will love you more for it.

I LOVE THESE BITE-SIZED KOREAN CAKES!!! Everytime I get to visit SM Cebu I always make sure to drop by their kiosk to order a box and bring it home for my family. Probably my all-time fave Pasalubong.. ever. Seeing this on the fridge at home always brings a smile to my face, and I have been loving these tiny cakes since grade school (or high school, I can’t remember coz it’s that long). And now I’m passing on the love to my kids. LOL. My favorite is the one with the caramel stuffing but all flavors are wonderful! And it tastes even better when warm! Please put a kiosk in SM Consolacion or Ayala! PLEASE!!! eyah-justlove.blogspot.com

No doubt this korean cakes are very mouthwatering, as far as I have remembered I started eating and liking Moshi Manju since I was in grade school. This is somewhat part of every children’s childhood pasalubong from their parents from SM City Cebu. It’s sad that it’s not available in SM Seaside. One thing I have observed with the sales lady in this kiosk is that she is always mad at the costumer and it feels like she doesn’t want to serve.

This is not actually my first time because the last time i tried moshi manju was during my college days that was 4 years ago i think. I am still fascinated buy the people lining up for this korean baked cakes. Moshi Manju is described as delicious mini cakes loaded with luscious custard, rich mocha, or creamy pastillas filling freshly baked in their custom-made oven everyday. Sounds captivating, isn’t it?I zest for this tiny korean cakes that just melts in your mouth. A wonderful match for a cup of tea or coffee during an afternoon snack. You will be stunned once you catch sight of their ovens baking this minuscule cakes impromptu which assures their patrons of the quality of Moshi Manju. They serve it piping hot whenever you purchase one box, reheating can be done after you arrive home. Prices are immensely affordable ranging from their smallest offering of 4 pieces for 16 pesos to their biggest one of 24 pieces costing 85 pesos.
