Despite not so appealing and dimly lighted ambiance, but JAPANESE food is a favorite and surprisingly their foods are delectable. Love their Group Meals menu concept too. Friendly Suggestion to the Restaurant: Kindly upgrade your menu since it appears too worn-out and may be a turn-off for some customers. youtu.be

I was with my Japanese colleagues to eat lunch. My Japanese companions ordered a tempura set meal, but serving of the orders were one by one.Ordered sukiyaki, but it is too salty and noodles is too much., definitely not an authentic Japanese restaurant. Price is same as authentic Japanese restaurants. Not worth the price I think, you can definitely get good Japanese food from other restaurants with the same price. Not recommended.

Waitress seemed bored when taking our order. She wasn’t smiling. Food wasn’t any better. The california maki easily fell apart when being dipped into the sauce. The tonkatsu had too much breading that the meat and the breading seemed to be two separate entities. The pork was dry and the sauce failed to give it any flavor aside from being sour. The cucumber mint ice blended was too sweet and the mint was overpowering the cucumber. Thankfully, they did it right with the tempura or they should have changed their name to something else.

I’m not a big fan of Sushi.. but the sushi here at Tempura in SM Cebu was absolutely delish! Came here with my friend before his flight back to Manila. Since he was a Japanese foodienatic, I had no choice but to try out this restaurant (even if it means using chopsticks that I don’t even know how to use LOL). It was his treat anyway.I can’t recall what we ordered and how much it was since I was too focused on enjoying my time with him that I actually forgot to take note of these details. And funny that it isn’t listed on their menu as well. But all I can say is.. I loved everything I ate!We ordered this Bento type dish which was served with soup and a plate of mixed round sushi that was presented nicely. It was sooo good that I still get cravings up to this day. Place is a bit pricey though. I believe he paid about a thousand pesos for just the 2 of us. eyah-justlove.blogspot.com

I’ve always preferred Japanese food, and we’ve been to Tempura at SM City Cebu several times already. I like the overall vibe of the restaurant. It’s classy and spacious. The servers are also pleasant and helpful.I will be bias when it comes to reviewing Japanese food because I am a Japanese foodie by heart, unless the food is undeniably bad. With Tempura, they serve good food with very good presentation. It’s a total package. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone (not just Japanese food fanatics) because you will definitely have a great dining experience. Special mention to their Spareribs Sansho Yaki and Four Seasons Shake. Their menu is diverse and the portions of their entree are generous. For a good hearty meal for two may cost P800 and above. indayadventurista.com

i tried their bento box and i was so satisfied with the variety of food that are included in the box. Tempura is the best for me! They have a big place which can accommodate many customers. Their staff were very attentive and very friendly. I would want to try other food they offer some other time. A bit pricey but definitely worth your money.

If you want delicious Japanese food at reasonable prices, this is the place for you. I like the ambiance of the restaurant. Really mellow. They need to work on the time for serving the dishes though.
