I have been here for 2 days and I liked the place. They serve iced cold beers as well. However, I ordered veg. Spring roll and it took around 30 minutes to be served even though I was the only customer that time. All in all my experience was good. I will come again for sure.
The food is a 1 star. Some of the worst garbage I’ve ever had.The service is awful.The music, the vibe, and drinks are all good. The venue itself is very cool.I don’t get a place like this. Tweak the food and the service and its the best place imaginable.I would go back for the bands and the drinks but probably only order french fries or something that can’t be ruined like the pizza.Probably the worst pizza I’ve had in all Cebu and that’s saying a lot since there are many horrendous pizza places.I doubt they would listen to this review since the place is full all the time at night but I hope they can try to make it better.Bottom line, go for the drinking and for the singing but don’t go for the food.
We stayed at horizon 101 on my birthday with my family and decided to Drop by at cubana since it was close to where we stayed and I also love bars with live bands but I was kinda disappointed because the band were only playing music that only my uncle can relate. Lolz. Was hoping to hear an alternative rock like Creed, Collective soul, Pearl Jam, Redhot or even Metallica or Basti of wolfgang type of music or even the new ones. We waited hoping they were gonna play some and so we ordered, beer, pizza, chicken terriyaki, strawberry and mango shake, mango daiquiri cocktail. Service was really really slow. It feels like it was forever before our orders were served. The band was still playing music that I cant relate and all the request coming from the customers were also not my kind of music. I was gonna request but there were too many and we were getting too bored so after eating we just went home. It was like we just dropped by to get a taste test of their menu haha. In all fairness to the chef though, I loved their pizza, the cheese melt so perfectly The crust was wonderful. The chicken terriyaki does have a kick in the flavor, the terriyaki sauce lift it, it was a perfectly balanced sauce it was firey. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was just the usual for typical bars. Nothing special or fancy but id say its still a cool place to hang out.
Gave 1 star not because of the place, but because of Zomato. As stated Cubana will open at 5:30PM (See photo on this review for reference). Went there today 5:30PM and in hurry but as per Cubana, they will open at 6:30PM.
The food is salty and basic for the price. I had the All Pork Pizza and Beef Spring rolls. The rolls were incredibly salty and oily. The pizza was very soft and not flavoured well.The customer service is very lacking. In addition, they have dishonest business practices. Some things aren’t listed on the menu, which is common, but the servers never inform you of these additional charges. While trying to talk to the head server lady about such a charge, she raised her voice at me repeatedly, refused to let me speak, and yelled at me never to come back. It’s a pity because the area is nice and the band is great. However, skip this place if you want to eat, shisha, and not be treated disrespectfully by the staff.
