My mom and I ate here yesterday and we ordered their Halo-Halo Super. It was super big. Haha! Malamang, super gani diba? Lol. Haha! It was kind of a mistake actually ’cause we were supposed to order the Halo-Halo Special. It’s been a while since we ate at Ice Castle so, we thought the bigger one was the Special. Lol. But I don’t regret ordering it because it was so good. 3 scoops of Ube ice cream is like heaven. Haha! Then, we also ordered their Nuggets and Fries which were also good. The fries were crunchy and the nuggets were so soft. I kinda felt bad because I wasn’t able to take pictures of the food. Everything were good. Maybe they just need to improve their interior a little bit since the place looked kinda old. Maybe repaint the place? Because there were already some dark spots on their wall. And also the chairs near the wall need some repairs too because part of it has some cracks. But overall, the foods were very good! 🙂

Ice castle is one of the oldest halo-halo restaurants in Cebu. It has been one of my favorite and my family’s favorite as well.I like this specific branch since it is quite spacious and easy to locate. I love how clean and pleasant looking this place is. The interior of the restaurant is simple yet appealing.The staff are really welcoming and friendly. Mostly of their staff do “chika” with their customers. And if you are having the hard to time to choose among the halo-halo and other foods, they are more than willing to suggest and explain it to them.As for their best-selling Halo-Halo, I can say that it is the best one. There are lots of choices and varieties to choose from and each one of them tasted special and unique. The prices are affordable as well. Their other foods are great as well.SO, after having a heavy dinner, might as well fill your stomach with a delicious Halo-Halo from this place. I do recommend it.
Not fond of halo-halo (which was their specialty) except if they’re plain, so opted for something else instead. Got strawberry parfait (130php)I didn’t taste any fresh strawberries and too much syrup for me, but if you’re feeling hot and you’re around the area, go try it. Interior was simple, service was not fast even if order was just ice cream. Good thing is there’s a lot of parking spaces at the back of the mall.
Best halo-halo I’ve ever tasted, but like others have already mentioned, the staff are too dry or look too tired and bored to entertain their customers. We have to call their attention repeatedly since some of them are looking out through the glass walls and deep in thought. The food made up for it at least. 95 Pesos for a big halo-halo? I’d go there any day!!! (Wasn’t able to get a picture because eating halo-halo was a spontaneous, last minute decision)
No question on the taste. Right mixture of ice cream and toppings. Affordable, considering the taste and generous serving. The only problem is the looooong waiting time. We literally had to wait 30 min. for our orders. But will definitely come back soon.
Its a typical dessert shop. There’s nothing really special about their menu that will make you a patron. Though I must admit their halo halo is good.
