The old restaurant in Ramos, was our favorite place when we crave for grilled chickens.And to date, despite they have relocated (opposite street from the old spot) and the place is quite smaller than before, this is still revisited because they have maintained that Chicken Inasal taste that we always wanted and loved. youtu.be
Will always be the place I loved before Mang Inasal. The chicken’s flavoring goes in the meat and you can really taste the sweetness of it. It has a good ambiance though the restaurant is quite small.
The only thing I come for here is the chicken barbecue. This has always been their specialty. The only thing you need to deal with is the long cook wait for the chicken. Nothing else really stands out in the restaurant so it is always take out for us.
The service is awful. The food comes to you cold. The rice looks and tastes like its recycled. Your orders come to you after 45mins, and considering there’s not a lot of people eating here, that feels like a lifetime already. I wouldnt recommend this place. Better just eat at Mang Inasal. This place should just be shut down.
I have been to Cebu many times. I stayed at a hotel near by and we always went to Jo’s. The food is great, service is welcoming and great prices. I would recommend eating here.
Before Mang Inasal existed, there was Jo’s Chicken Inato that Cebuanos loved. I’m happy that they are still operating even until now. It really feels nostalgic every time I eat here. My family always dined here 10-12 years ago. Ambiance still feels homey. Sad to say, their Chicken Inato is no longer as juicy as it used to. Though their Camaron never gets old. What separates them from Mang Inasal, they have a variety of dishes to choose from. Price is reasonable.
