Went here when my friends were visiting me in Cebu. This place is usually quite empty but the food is exceptionally good quality. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is great. The prices are high but not ridiculous.

Authentic. Tasteful.Came here really late but their food are still fresh. The oven pizza tastes excellent and the lasagna is out of this world.Got to try this again soon.

I love this restaurant. Me and my husband celebrated Valentines day at LA GONDOLA this year and it did not disappoint. Food were fantastic and the prices were reasonable. supercebu.com

If it isn’t obvious yet, let me clear something up: I love Italian food. If I could, I would eat it everyday. But that’s not really an option lol. Anyway, since at the time we wanted Chinese AND Italian, we opted to order pasta and pizza here and have it served at Tin Gow, the resto opposite it. So we ordered their carbonara and all meat pizza. I love the carbonara and I scarfed it down in a minute or two (not really, but it felt like that anyway lol). All meat pizza was good too. I don’t usually like eating pizza crust, but since this was a thin crust kind of pizza, I was happy to do so.Not much to say about the ambiance as we ate the Italian ~goods~ at the Chinese resto, but from the outside, the place does look good. Might come back to have their lasagna and another pizza too lol. Anyway, service was superb because they agreed to our request haha. cnicolego.wordpress.com

A fancy Italian restaurant with a crossover of Medieval and Renaissance-inspired interiors. The #CapreseSalad invoked a playful image with a bland taste. #TraditionalLasagna is delectably cheesy. #OvenBakedLamb’s meat is tender!

I had a sumptuous dining experience at La Gondola and it was actually my first time dining at Waterfront’s Gourmet Walk. Here are some of what I’ve tried at La Gondola:Appetizer: Caprese Salad – P480: I honestly did not enjoy it that much because I found the taste weird.Pasta: Seafood Spaghetti – P388: This dish which is made of spaghetti tossed with calamari, prawn, mussel, basil, and white wine sauce was one of the dishes that caught my attention. I really enjoyed it.Pizza: Pepperoni-Salame – P288: Nothing special about it though.Main Course: Oven Baked Rack of Lamb with Rosemary Jus – P688: It was my first time tasting lamb and it was quite weird. I love how the meat was tender though.Dessert: Lemon Tart with Meringue – P188: I thought I was going to love it but no, I didn’t. The lemon zest was very overpowering for me.Dessert: Tiramisu – P188: This I enjoyed best. It was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it!Tequila Sunrise – P260: After everything I have eaten, I chose a cocktail to tone down everything. It was a lovely drink.More at wanderingella.com wanderingella.com

For our appetizer, we had the Insalata Caprese at PHP480 (tomato, mozzarella, basil and balsamic dressing) which for me was a new experience. This dish was very fragrant and guaranteed to get you in the mood to eat with its varying flavors. For our soup, we had the Minestrone at PHP168 (assorted vegetable broth scented with pesto) which was a very healthy dish and tasted good as well. For our pasta, we had the Traditional Lasagna at PHP288 (minced beef, tomato sauce, béchamel, gratinated with mozzarella and parmesan) which was very cheesy and meaty with just the right sourness that I could say that this was the best lasagna I have tasted so far. On the seafood pasta, we had the Spaghetti allo Scoglio at PHP388 (tossed with calamari, prawn, mussel, basil and white wine sauce). This dish was well-presented and looked very inviting. The pasta was al diente and the flavors of the sea were intact. For our pizza, we had the Pepperoni-Salame at PHP288 (tomato, mozzarella, spicy Italian sausage) and I loved its crispy 16-inch flat dough with ample toppings served straight from their wooden brick oven. For our main course, we had the Rack of Lamb at PHP688 (oven baked with Rosemary Jus) with its flavorful aroma, tender meat and crunch vegetables with a sauce that you can’t get enough of.For our desserts, we had the Lemon Tart with Meringue at PHP188 with a sour after taste that was not a favorite of mine. Thankfully, the Tiramisu at PHP188 (Mascarpone cheese, coffee, Savoiardi cookies) saved the day.For our drinks, I had the Long Island Iced Tea at PHP260 (gin, tequila, vodka, rum and calamansi juice) which was a perfect palate cleanser and drink to cap off the day. kingofsinulog.wordpress.com
