Being a Japanese living in Cebu, I visit Q-Bay once in a while for their authentic Yakitori (skewered Japanse-style grilled chicken) which means during the dinner operating hours as they only serve Yakitori at night. However, they recently started new lunch menu at very very affordable prices for an authentic Japanese restaurant (see the lunch menu photo I uploaded) and I became a repeater for Q-Bay lunch.Sauce Yakisoba (Japanese fried noodle) with soup is only P100!!! I don’t think any other authentic Japanese restaurants in Cebu serve a lunch dish with soup at such a low price.Oyakodon set (chicken & egg rice bowl, soup, salad, bits & pieces of small side dishes and a slice of fruit) is only P230 and Tonkatsu Teishoku (tonkatsu = pork cutlette, teishoku = set meal) also comes with soup, side dishes and a slice of fruit at P220. Even non-authentic Japanese restaurants charge more than that for similar set meals (and taste nothing like what we eat back home). If you work in or near IT Park and want to have authentic Japanese food sometimes, I highly recommend Q-Bay lunch menu. It’s a really good deal.
