Service was prompt. The lechon was tasty. Mostly. My mom requested for the belly part, but we were told they mix the parts, which I completely understand. Eating the other parts that were not from the belly was not really that tasty. Overall, my experience with Rico’s was okay but I can’t say they have the best lechon in Cebu.

Service is good but food is lousy. We are tourists from Manila and was really excited and expecting for Rico’s Lechon to be great -but to our surprise, there’s really nothing special about it. We ordered rice and 2 variants of lechon: the original one and the spicy. Both of them were served cold! The skin wasn’t crispy at all and the spicy lechon tastes bland; its meat was really dry it almost looked like chicken breast meat. I hope other branches are different, we were really disappointed with this one.

They are pricier now, the menu is not updated but the food is still worth it. The lechon was crispy and as alwasy, it tasted superb! Will always come back for family and friends gathering or just a casual eat-out.

What we had:Quarter lechon, chicharong bulaklak, baked scallops, eggplant with egg, cucumansi, ripe mango shakeWhat I think:The food quality here is not particularly different with that of the one we have near our place in Pasig. That’s not a bad thing. Good, affordable food. The service can do a bit better though.

In search for the best lechon in Cebu, we went from one place to another and Rico’s was not it. I heard Rico’s is so famous even amongst outside of Cebu celebrities. It doesn’t have distinct flavor from other lechon brand. And that includes their dinuguan. The pancit canton was good tho and I’m happy they have bits of squid and shrimp thrown in there coz usually pancit canton has only fishballs and vegetables. The restaurant was so pretty and fancy but the price wasn’t expensive. I noticed people eating there are in groups and families. Overall, its a nice dine and the food are not bad. Anyway peeps, I recommend MLB Lechon in Danao city. It’s only a small place near the going to Camotes port. Their dinuguan and paklay and lechon tasted better than any of the lechon places we’ve been in the whole week looking. The lechons in carcar city were also a no no. Due to many competitions in the area, some served leftover lechon.

Rico’s Lechon is well known not just in Cebu but in the Philippines. They have several branches in Cebu and one is only 15 minutes away from Mactan airport. We ordered rice Lechon and baked scallops and all were delicious and reasonably priced.

Lechon is very known here in Cebu but one thing really excites me as I drop by here and see the Rico’s Lechon located very near me I grabbed the chance to taste their Lechon. It’s a finger-licking food! so every time I’ve dropped by I’ll go immediately here.
