we been there yesterday at Yakimix in sm seaside for our lunch . Frankly spoken it was the worst buffet we ever been . i just want to know what all this people find there to eat . i looked at the plates of the many filipino guests around us : all overloaded with greezzy fat porc an other faty items . They drunk only oversweeted drinks and i d ont want to know how much they harm there body s in drinking this crap . We finally eat some fried chicken and pancit . The sushis i tasted have nothing in common with sushis from a real japanese restaurant except the name . Disgusting and we will never ever step in one Yakimx restaurant in the Philippines . Its cheap , yes but you get what you pay for and so better pay some 300 Pesos more and go to Vikings where at least you will find some decent food and not only fats and sugar .
It was around December 2018 when I first visited YakiMix even though I lived nearby and it’s just a few minutes walk from our home. During that time, I was accompanied by 5 coworkers because we were treated for a meal by my American Senior Manager. We went there around 1 pm and we just walked in without reservation since there are still plenty of tables.When I got into their buffet, some foods were no longer available and I didn’t noticed any refill. But since there are still plenty to choose from so I did not insist on refilling it. I enjoyed the grilling by the way and were very excited with the sushi’s and other japanese cuisine.The staff though were not very accomodating but they still provide you with what you need, just be patient- meaning you need to call them multiple times in many minutes before they decide to accomodate you and you need to wait for another many minutes before they provide you with that you requested.For the taste, the raw beef were indeed very salty but I like their sausage. For other food, the taste were okay but not too impressive. But you will still come out full and contented.

Going back today, says enough. Good price/quality.So much sushi to choose for if you’re a sushi lover and want a reasonable price, this will be your heaven. The wasabi is nice and strong just a heads up.
Good ambiance for family dine outs ❤The staff were accommodating. The scent of smoke may stick to your clothes. If it’s a bother, you may want to bring an extra shirt.
