Discovered thisnplace while walking along Cabahug. The cook was char broiling a native chicken which was so enticing but was the last of their stocks. Ended up ordering their seafood barkada bag with butter and garlic. It was good and really filling. Could have fed 2 – 3 pax. I will be coming back to try their native lechon manok.
if youโre a seafood lover, this branch is a go-to. i personally love their shrimps. they have fast and efficient service which is very impressive for a seafood restaurant. prices are reasonable and the area is spacious. they have a playground for children too. staffs were polite and attending.
This is my new favorite a favorite place in Cebu. You got to try their mixed seafood in a bag with the Cajun flavor. The salted egg flavor is equally great. I love their chorizo I ordered them separately. This is highly recommended if you are into local stuff.
This branch of Choobi-Choobi would be my most preferred outlet among the ones they have in Cebu. First, because they are detached from other establishments that you only go to this place when you want to dine at this restaurant. Second is that they have ample parking space. Third, they are very much designed for families, especially the fact that they have a play area for kids. Also they both have indoor and outdoor seating. With the indoor seating, the air-conditioning works well, compared to Choobi-Choobi Parkmall wherein there is none available. From the number of times I have been here, I can say that the food, is generally okay. Some dishes were less satisfactory. Nonetheless, some of their offerings tasted good, but less than excellent. It is a Filipino cuisine restaurant, so expect that most of the dishes have distinct and strong flavors. However, I thought their Seafood Barkada Bag was too salty.I have tried their grilled Golden Pompano. It was just okay. Not very flattering. Perhaps I wasn’t a fan of that kind of fish. What I remember enjoying at Choobi-Choobi would be their Pancit Canton, Shrimp in a Bag (Spicy Gata Flavor), and Stan’s Black Pepper Shrimp (the version 2, Singaporean style). I have tried the Stan’s Fried Black Pepper Shrimp (version1) and it tasted good: it was well-fried that the exoskeleton was edible.
Great place! Great food! The servings are enough and the prices are reasonable. I love coming back here again and again. I love how open the space is and the different array of foods they offer. And every now and then, they offer new dishes that are sure to delight your tummy. You guys should try it! I recommend this branch out of all other branches.
We frequent here because of good food, fast seervice and most specially the small kiddie they have at the back. Gives the parents some peace to enjoy the seafoods while the kids are enjoying the playground. The salted egg boiled shrimp is the all time fave.
I love Choobi Choobi!!! Their salted egg shrimps are the best. Giving a 4.5 since there are times wherein some of my favorites like their sa-ang is not available. But other than that, place is great!
