Made a reservation around 4:30pm over the phone with a staff. When we came, no reservation was made but it was confirmed that the one I spoke on the phone worked there and he is the Manager. We came for the crispy pata but was disappointed that it came overcooked. The same Manager said he will just cancel it from our bill, we said was ok, when the bill came we were billed for it. Fortunately, they have helpful and cheery servers named Keren and Therese who made our experience delightful.
We ate dinner here and the place wasn’t fully booked that time, so we were expecting that the food would be great and served immediately. It takes them forever to serve the food! In termsof flavor, the food wasn’t delicious. It was either overcooked, or lacked seasoning. For the drinks, the fruit pitcher was disgusting, the texture was like it had ‘chewed’ fruits in it. The waiters were accommodating and friendly though.
Great place for Filipino food if you’re craving some plus you get unlimited white rice. I’m more of a garlic rice fan. They have some yummy vegetarian dishes too like this nangka dish and the adobong Kang kong. Also price wise it doesn’t hurt you wallet.
Very convenient location and clearly a fave in Cebu. It offers Filipino food the Cebu way. Try thr Crispy Pata and the Belly, simply delightful!
My 5/5 so far!Salinas restaurant does have an ambiance that tells you from the outside: come in and we will offer you the best foodtrip! The moment you set foot inside the resto, you know you are in for a treat: the very well-lit white place with a rustic modern charm is already a feast for the eyes and the feels. The waitresses are so seasoned theyknow exactly what they are doing and how to do it best. They welcomed guests with genuine hospitality and are thorough in going us over their exciting menu. The menu offers a great selection for foodtrippers, starting from their greens that puts Pako in the spotlight (a way much better alternativeto the almost boring lettuce) to their vegetarian options (with the lazy chef)xServing time is fast and does not anyway compromise the presentation. The food is really great! The cocido ala bicolana is definitely a must try! It’s a very unique twist to the cebuano sinigang we perfectly know by cooking it with coconut milk and meat. The sourness is spot on! For a moment you could forget your name! The price? It’s not really a pain to the pocket. For a dinner for two your 600 could go a long way!I love the salinas restaurant! See yousoon again!
