The place is very cozy. Their staff is very attentive when we went there and ofc the service was good. Although this is a little bit more expensive than the usual restaurants this gives a great deal with its palatable array of food.

Went here on weekday with my family. We were shocked because the place was not full, which it usually is.As we perused the menu, we were disappointed that a lot of items were unavailable. I could definitely remember that only one size of crispy pata was available, which was around 700+++ php. Unfortunately, size did not reflect the price and food was overcooked.Utensils were not clean, and we even saw a fly in our sister’s glass after she has poured her juice. Restaurant did not even offer to exchange the drink. A huge disappointment in my book.We have been dining here for years and I hope they improve their menu and their cleanliness. Because as of now, I would not recommend their place.

Delicious as always. Barbeque (flavorful) but was a bit overgrilled and sinigang was too sour though very hot and satisfying, prawns tasted fresh).staff were too nice and professional. Worth the price.

Everything we ordered tasted great and worth the price. The turon was epic because it looked like a claw inside a glass. Lol. It could have been chopped smaller, while maintaining the right number of pieces.WATCH my Hukad vlog on my YouTube channel. Click and SUBSCRIBE to this link:youtube.com/c/BingeEatersbingeeaters

I ordered pork barbeque and laing. The barbeque was okay but l was disappointed with their laing. It’s not the type of laing I was looking for. It got more taro meat than leaves. I like my laing to be on the leafy side with almost no trace of coconut cream because it has cooked too well and converted to oil already. I’ll still go back to Hukad though and try their other dish since they have a wide selection on their menu. Also their rice is unlimited, who doesn’t love that?

Celebrated our barkada’s Christmas Party here. Was #3 on the wait list but didn’t really take us so long to get a seat inside. Staff were very accommodating & attentive (Kudos to our waiter, Lemuel, for the great service!).We initially wanted to order their Crispy Pata regular size & Bulalo but both were out (sad). So we went for their Crispy Pata family size & Nilagang Baka instead. Also ordered their Baked Scallops, Tinunuang Nangka, Pineapple Cucumber Agua Fresca Pitcher & for dessert, their Halo Halomazing & the Ube Macapuno..something (forgot, not listed on Zomato’s menu for some reason). Rice is unlimited.Everything was superb! Especially their Crispy Pata — tender meat, super crispy skin! My least favorite would’ve been the Nilagang Baka as the soup leaves a starchy feel to your tongue & mouth. But still delicious nonetheless. The desserts were a little too sweet for my liking.Overall, still recommend this place. :)P.S.Zomato’s menu is outdated as of this writing. Expect their food to be a little more expensive than what’s priced on the Zomato menu. eyah-justlove.blogspot.com

Hukad by Golden Cowrie provides you with an assortment of the most delicious Filipino cuisines. Best of all, you may savor it all with their fancy hukad unli-rice.Delight your tongue with their all time favorite Filipino dishes like the Kare-kare, Crispy Pata, Sisig, Lechon Kawali, Deep Fried Liempo, and many more! Heck, they even have tasty Filipino drinks like sago’t gulaman. If you’re a Filipino and love to eat Filipino classic dishes, dine here. If you’re a foreigner and would like to try Filipino dishes, this place is a must-try!++++++Ps. Food taste great but their service is the opposite, but with a little adjustment I think things could improve. Tell the waitress to serve the drinks with the meal, a waiter comes in with a pitcher a minute later, tell the waitress you canceled the ice cream, a waiter would come in with a cup of ice cream a minute later. There seems to be no communication at all.Caution: There is a table here which wobbles quite often. Its very hard for customers to dine in that table especially if they order a bowl of soup. Once the table wobbles, the bowl spills. They don’t even fix that yet, instead, they even let you sit there. Gracious.
