We celebrated my mom’s 50th bday here last May 19 and definitely didn’t disappoint us. They even exceeded our expectations. Food tasted great and delicious. Prices were very reasonable and affordable. Serving sizes were huge and to top it all off, service was fast and satisfactory! This will definitely be one of the list of my fave hotel restos with a 5 star service at a 3 star price.
I am in love with their breakfast buffet! I have tried their breakfast buffet twice already and I can say that their scrambled egg is my most favorite. I always made sure to get some, and they have a wide variety of food as well. Their bagoong rice is also to die for, and they have different beverages as well. Last time I went, they had fried milkfish (WHICH IS DELICIOUS BY THE WAY) and tocino. They also had fresh milk to pair with cereal. They also have congee but you’d have to be the one to season it, ans they have the ingredients there. Truthfully, I wasn’t able to try everything because I was deeply engrossed in making sure I ate a lot of their scrambled eggs and milkfish lol. But it’d be a buffet I’d recommend for everyone.
Not quite satisfied with Mandarin Plaza Hotel’s breakfast buffet, an assessment echoed by my companions as well. The food array was simple and limited (Php 400 for extra guests). Sorry, no danggit or dilis or budbud here. They’ve got lots of bacon but it looked pale and a tad undercooked, I prefer it to be a bit crispy & crunchy to the bite. I liked their Longganisa Hamonada, Ube cake and Cucumber Lemonade, though. The place is clearly understaffed, so expect sluggish food replenishment and tables to be cleared a bit slower than usual. If you’re used to having somebody serve you a glass of water or refill your coffee like most hotel restaurants do, it’s not happening here.I don’t think I’ll be coming back, so for tomorrow’s breakfast, I’ve decided to pass on my meal coupons to my other family members and head over to McDonald’s right across the street instead. Hahaha.
I love the breakfast table the basics are there but all taste good. They have tablea hot drink its awesome very traditional. The hotel room is great nice beddings large shower and toilet and frienfly staff but need to train more the reception staff. Overall its ok value for money.
One of the bland hotel breakfast buffet I tried. Fruit options are limited to watermelon and pineapple.Main entrees are mostly fried. They have cereals, bread and few spreads.I developed a liking to their kimchi. freedomwall.net
