Cebu is a growing metropolis and with it comes different types of flavors all over the world. For example, the fine bagels sold on this tiny kiosk located in the third floor of Ayala Center Mall.The bagels are of top quality, worth mentioning its chewy and crunchy texture. If you’re wondering what bagels taste like, it would taste like french baguettes only with a shape of a doughnut.I like this establishment cause it’s the first of its kind to open here in Cebu. Bringing to us Cebuanos a taste to other delicacies around the globe.Fun trivia: Bagels originated from the Jewish community in Poland on the early half of the 17th century.Tip#1: If you want to try bagels for the first time, don’t eat it plain cause you’ll be surprised that it taste just like bread. Its like you’re trying “puso” for the first time without any viand. (They have lots of bagel sandwiches to choose from.)Tip#2: Explore! This establishment comes with 18 different and unique flavors with their bagels. For starters, you can add cream cheese with the bagel of your choice and compliment it with their coffees.
I have tried their bagels before but I am surprised to have enjoyed this pizza bagel. Like, it was sweet that’s why I’m surprised. It’s also an instammable open place. I also tried their meringue but it was too sweet.
Good bagel sandwiches for the price, i had the 4 cheese bagel and i like the hint of garlic. I also have new pastry products if you feel that a bagel sandwich is too much or would like something sweet to pair with your coffee.I only wish they would have seasonal bagel sandwiches we could enjoy.
Bagel is seriously underrated and underappreciated in Cebu. I’ll be making it a habit now to have a NY bagel sandwich for lunch once a week since I liked my last order of Caesar sandwich (in cheese bagel)!
Have been getting bagels from them for almost 2 years now. The place is nice and has good variety of options. If you are on a diet you should try their wholewheat bagels with peanut butter. Rightly priced and value for money.
I recommend their chocolate walnut bagel with cream cheese, it’ll cost you 85php. It’s the best if you pair it with a cup of coffee. You can also save if you buy in bulk.
I love it here. Favourite palce in Ayala to chill and read a book. Been here countless of times and actually here now while writing this review. It was here I first tasted my first bagel and it will forever be my fav. A myst try tastetravelthoughts.com
