first of all, i really love their interior. it’s catchy. we’ve tried the sizzling plate meals and they were well-cooked and delicious. the prices are reasonable too. staffs were very welcoming and polite. loved to be back
I was curious every time when pass that restaurant. Finally went there taste their sizzling plate rice meal. Waiter recommended their Beef Pepper Rice coz it’s their best seller. I Ordered and upgraded it into Jumbo since I was so hungry that time. When the food served by the waiter he recommended their sauces the Honey Brown sauce and Garlic Steak Salty. While mixing their 2 sauces on the sizzling plate the outcome was great mixed flavor..For the price It’s quite pricy for me coz I tried several resto/food chain with sizzling meals the price is almost half and then servings are almost the same. Food and ambiance was great as well as their service staff are well trained.
i ordered the chicken and salmon combo and i just had to save the Salmon for last. i couldnt get enough of it. the chicken on the other hand was rather salty and not too special in my opinion. My boyfriend thought the serving size wasn’t enough for a big guy like him!
Ordered their Garlic Beef Pepper Rice and I love it! I love the taste and because of that I was in a hurry to eat all of it until I burned my tongue. HAHAHA! I also love the place. Love the interior. Simple and there’s so much space to move around. The service was fast and the staff were very accommodating. There are also a lot of Japanese when we ate there. It only means that they really captured the real taste of Japanese food. 🙂
Will always be a Pepper Lunch fan! I love their beef cause it’s really tender and I find Pepper Lunch’s meals to be delicious! The service is fast and the staff is friendly too!
Having a hot cast iron plate in a fast food restaurant is really out of the norm in Cebu city. There’s only a handful of restaurants that have done this technique longer than Pepper Lunch (known longer by the Filipino masses). Pepper lunch tries to present it self as a fast food joint but it just falls really short. But a nice try anyway. The Place ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – One redeeming factor with the restaurant location is it’s located in Ayala Mall’s garden roof top which is nice. But nothing really comes to mind on why I should give them above average. I mean interior wise and space wise, it’s just like a fast food joint. Monotonous. The Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Sizzling meats on a cast iron pan? Nothing wrong with that. The down side is because they try to emulate a fast food joint, quality of the product isn’t consistent. At times you get a salty Pepper beef or a really mushy hamburg steak. But it really just barely made it to tasty status. The Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Nothing really stands out during lunch service. Average just really plain average. Which is alarming. I mean who’d want to eat at someplace that doesn’t even try to make your dining experience one to remember? The Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Need I remind you there are some places that offer the same concept of meals but at a cheaper cost? That orange place and the one that sounds like Angelina Jolie are siphoning the potential of Pepper Lunch. They need to check with their price point value.
