The place is okay. It can cater a lot of groups. Their staff are also accommodating. The prices of their food are affordable especially at large group orders. You can either ask for help in cooking the soup or you can just do it yourself.
Cheaper than other shabu-shabu places in the city yet they offer sumptious meals -not just the hotpot but they also have ala carte dishes. Staff are responsive and the service was fast. Will definitely come back!
Konnichiwa / Konbawa!Originated in Japan, the DIY boiling food awesomeness. Hot pot isn’t well-known however to the most, which is a shame as it’s a fun and affable way of eating out. A boiling pot of broth, continuously kept warmth by a hotplate, divvy up by everyone around the table. Choose to order a hodgepodge of food, from meat to seafood balls to vegetables and noodles, and cook stirring everything then serve by dipping sauce of choice. Cooking the assorted ingredients for the shabu shabu barely takes any time at all. How I wish they have my favourite appetizers like the spicy edamame or harumaki. If you’re impatient then can ask for some gyozas to keep you amused in the interim.It’s pretty! Look at that swirling winter colors.The green color of leafy green veges, the red from the beautiful meat slices, the soft greens of the negi and other added colorful food balls together with the pottery and platters. Winter, Spring or Fall time, I always like shabu shabu but here is quite pricey. Well, been here during rainy days in Ph.
1. Atmosphere/ Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️A relatively new resto but it seems that the place was not renovated when they took over. Also, the exhaust needs to be stronger since they offer shabu2x. We smelled food right after.2. Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️3. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️They were understaffed that time. Took us a couple of follow ups. But despite them being busy they try to attend to all of the customers4. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Food was ok. We also got their rice bowls/toppings which the serving was pretty good. Their shabu2x was affordable and you rarely find shabu2x places in the city.5. Accessibility of the resto: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My kids love it here! They like the idea of cooking so we let them put all the food in the pot. Best place to go if you like hot soup! Our go to order is the All meat. We just love it here.
Me and my family come here from time to time, usually for family gatherings, and also because a relative used to own the place. The place got a major upgrade after the new owner took over and the place looks even better than before, even we were thrilled. The food was good before and it still is, and i’m happy about that because the reputation of the restaurant remained the same, maybe even improved. The place is a bit pricey but, again, it is a Japanese themed restaurant. I uploaded pictures that may have some price changes, i hope it helps. Big, big thumbs up to the new Shabu Way!
