Eskina Sizzling and Grill is one of the hole-in-wall restaurants in the metro that deserves a two thumbs up in terms of affordability and food quality. I mean, where else can you find buttered scallops as cheap as P10 per piece. I love that the humble diner also serves brown rice. They have barbecue, gambas, sinigang and other Filipino favorites. Since their prices are really affordable, expect that the serving portions/size of their food is not fit for those who have big appetittes and utterly famished. Though the serving size of their food like the gambas is relatively small compared to what other commercial restos serve, how can you complain if it’s also half the price, right?! Haha The taste of their gambas, we assure you though that it’s really good. They also serve beer and I was happy to know that they serve my favorite beer — Smirnoff Mule.What’s also interesting about the place is that it’s most of the time packed with foreigners (Koreans mostly) thelifeaholics.com
