Went here last week with my friend. We tried this restaurant in hopes of trying jajjangmyeon or jajjang guksu, but that time they said it wasn’t available so we decided to order gimbap and tteokmyeon. Food presentation wasn’t very good but still decent. Taste was okay as well. I liked the tteokmyeon since it’s not very spicy and one order can be shared by two people. However drinks are limited and were a bit expensive (50 pesos for a soda in can).
One of my favorite Korean restaurants. Whenever I have a chance I dine here. I am extremely picky when it comes to Korean food as I once lived in Korea for more than a year and I know what is the real thing. Thankfully the taste of their food is so close to the real thing.I brought my parents here and my mom has been craving for their Bibimbop ever since that we had to drive all the way from Talisay to get here yesteday. That should tell you how much she likes the food. How I wish they’d open a branch nearer to us.
Went here for the first time, the place was okay. A bit small maybe. Their topokki was good paired with cheese and gimbap. For the price, hmm its a bit pricey considering the quality of food and its serving. I guess its just okay for a korean restaurant.
I rate one star because of the poor service and attitude of the staff. When we came in the staff had a grumpy face, no greetings whatsoever. Then came the food which was just so-so and unappealing (had pork barbecue which was dry and poorly cut and mandu ramyun which tasted like instant noodles). They forgot to serve our drinks and had to ask for it. The worst part was 2 of the crew were madly washing dishes; they were throwing stuff around and with all the loud banging you can infer they have issues. I didn’t leave a tip at all; if they have a brush-off with management it shouldnt be the customers who should suffer from the disgruntlement. Otherwise, they badly need a seminar on customer service.
Pricey and the plating is not palatable. Dissapointed. There are other resto’s with the same price point but has better food. [Toppoki Man] It would have been okay if the price is at par with the quality.
