We really enjoyed the foods that we ordered. A busy place since lots of tourist most especially Japanese & Koreans were visiting this place too. Staff were doing their job well to give full service to everyone.
Two orders of Oysters, two Crabs, 8 Sea Mantis’ and one Lapu-lapu for 4 people was pretty heavy. Most were cooked by butter garlic or lemon butter, apart from the lapu-lapu which we had deep fried without flour and some sweet and sour sauce. The Sea Mantis’ were delicious but rather small. Serving time took a while. Food is pricey albeit delicious. It’s good for that once-in-a-while splurge.
Been here 2 times with my family & colleagues. For the 1st time I went here, the service is very slow but they improved during my 2nd visit. The ambiance is good, classy and romantic at night especially with the pond and white sand touch and outdoor umbrella setting. Their food taste good.
We came here with a client just recently and generally the food was great. They have live seafoods (assorted fish, prawns, shrimps, sea mantis, & lobsters) that are on display in their main dining area which is the center of attraction really. They will cook your seafood here that is fresh out of the tank.Their adobo is to die for, love their bacolod chicken there is a certain tanginess to it that is unique only to bacolod chicken, it’s perfect. I would highly recommend their sizzling bulalo also, I love the soup. The ambiance was great, perfect for dates and family gathering. The only reason I’m giving them a 4 is because of their service, I literally have to walk to their counters to ask for something, their waiters are MIA most of the time, that’s why you didn’t get a tip from me this time.
Great food + Good Friends + Good Service and a nice place= A perfect place to stay and celebrate your big day.My oyster bay experience was really worth it. Though I waited for almost 2 hrs because I didn’t know they would be close at the afternoon and i arrived 3pm at the place so I stayed and waited for 2hrs for the restaurant to open which is at 5pm. Regardless, I was satisfied with the food, ambience and service that the restaurant provided us. I greatly recommend this place to others so if you are reading my review and you haven’t been to this restaurant then I tell bring your friends, family and love ones and you’ll surely fill your belly to the max.
Oyster bay has been with Cebu for the longest time their only problem against their competitors is that they always come up mediocre compared to service, taste and convenience of their competitors. Though they have good points. Like their shark feeding during dinner time and their fresh seafood. Basically they still keep the saying from the sea to the table. Overall it’s a place worth trying.
I love their place, especially the ambiance. I like the mixed seafood in coconut shell and the kinilaw na tangigue. My family also loves it. Plus, they were so generous with their servings. randomable.wordpress.com
