Overall experience is good aside from slow service the rude customer who cut my sister in the line to the comfort room. We reported it to the restaurant and they completely ignored our complaint. Anyway, food is great especially their cocktails.
Love the ambiance definitely a 4 star. We ordered sinigang, sisig and buttered chicken. Sinigang taste good but meat is a little chewy, maybe braising for a little time more will make it perfect. Sourness is just right and good amount of serving for the price. Sisig taste good too.maybe mince it more to make the texture better. Chunks of fat is overwhelming when you bite. Buttered chicken is bland and small serving for the price. We still enjoyed our dinner. Love the table set up.
They serve the best food in Bantayan Island. Their sinigang ang pork sisig is to die for. And the service was great. The food was affordable too..
I find their Pizzas good and their Drinks were okay too, friendly and attentive staff. Cozy place to unwind after a day at the beach..
Nice place, the staffs are even accommodating contrast to the other reviews I have read. Their food choices are also great especially their squid sisig. Well, there’s only two food choices that I don’t like: their pancake is too bland and kinda undercooked and their Tequila Sunrise tastes like Tempra Medicine.
Funny story: I ordered margarita and I was given pizza. (Ha ha) Apparently, they have a margarita-flavored pizza that I didn’t see on the menu. When I was asked whether I wanted ‘medium or large’ I thought they were referring to the size of the glass. The staff ended up having to eat the pizza because there was no way I would pay for and eat that on top of my rice meal. As far as the food went, it was great. I loved their prawns! The margarita tasted like your usual margarita. There was a slight mishap but it didn’t do any harm. Interior is lovely but could use a little more air, maybe have fans in the right places.
We had a good time here. I was expecting a more CouCou signature dish but everything was fine and okay with us. I hope for more improvements in their specialty dishes in the future. Probably will dine here again if we return to Bantayan island. I especially liked the tables where we needed to squat to eat. It is a perfect place to relax after a tiring day.
