I’ve been coming to this jap resto for a number of times. My first dine in was not that good because when we were done eating we chitchatted with my companion on our table and the server suddenly cleaned the mess though we were still there and we haven’t asked for our bill yet — by the way there was only a few customers by that time so there’s no need for him to rush cleaning the tables, it really felt like he wanted us to leave immediately. But since i really like jap foods i came back here because their food is good. Customer service is improving though and sometimes they have food promos. Their ramen tasted good and serving size is just right. I have eaten their california maki and sashimi and they are good too. But what i really like most is their miso soup, it was in their place i tasted it first and viola from the first sip i liked it already. Its so delicious you can really taste the soybeans.
I fell short with the #misosoup and yeah, served not in the usual Japanese bowl. Well, it sure does satiate my crave for #californiamaki but nothing so special about it. The #salmonsashimi is fresh but again, I crave for more. I am not sure with the serving here but maybe, I just have some big appetite today. I love the #chickentonkatsu – tender and succulent meat! Yummy! This bento took me around 7-10 minutes wait.
The food we were served did not look at all like the photos on the menu. I ordered chicken bento (roast or grilled) and received deep fried chicken skin with no meat at all included, likewise my niece who ordered grilled chicken and rice, she too was served deep fried chicken skin. The Tempura was okay but the kebabs were small. It was cheap, and the staff were friendly, but we won’t be eating there again.
Serves authentic-tasting ramen. Be sure to checkout some of their promos like free gyoza, etc. for every ramen meal. I have yet to try their curry dishes.
