Priciest karendaria I’ve ever been to. My bad to assume it’s not expensive since they don’t even have a proper cash register. To our surprise, we ended up paying 2k for a few plates of what’s left of their shrimps, halang2 and veggies for 4 persons when we got their written receipt. You can find bigger servings in a pungko2. Foods are served in a cheap plasticware, similar material used in arenolas.
As with other restaurants in Yacht Club, people would be expecting a wonderful experience. Not in this place. Initial thought when coming in is great. The place has a typical filipino restaurant setup. The lights are great. The open space is better. We had the pinakbet and pata. I do not like the plate that the food is being served on. It’s dirty and unappealing. Food wise, not that great either. The pata feels like it was cooked the day before. Hard and chewy on the inside. The pinakbet was okay, nothing special.Drinks are alright. Again nothing special. The biggest fail is the view. I understand that they want to achieve an open space with the view of the sea. But it doesn’t help if what you can see are trashes. Maybe the owner should have the initiative to at least clean the water once in a while. It makes your dinner feel like you’re eating in a dump. See photos. The tagalog love songs as the background music doesn’t help either.I would not recommend this place at all if you’re looking for an intimate place with your loved ones.
Place is nice but the food is so so. There’s no wow moment. The humba is different (orange mixed color). There were 2 orders we ordered and made several follow ups ended that they run out of that dish where they asked us to choose the fish to begin with. The iced tea is like flavored water. Disappointing! I wont recommend this restau to my friends.
Great and simple. Definitely a place you want to go with family. Foods come fast and at your convenience. Makes you want to come back definitely! The place has an ambiance to it. Mainly because its near the sea. Really great!
The good: Food is simple but ok and fast since most of the dishes are already cooked (carinderia style), good ambience (it helps that it is also within the compound of the Cebu Yacht Club), reasonable prices, good friendly service from the staff. The bad: very limited options for drinks (dispenser sodas, and powdered iced tea and four seasons juice; no dessert options. Place is ok for filipino food, casual dining and ambience.
Good food.. A bit pricy considering that the servings are quite small. Great ambiance though.. Great if you want to dine & relax.Another downside is the service crew. There were a lot of people dining but they only have 4 waiters..Will come back though..
View was great but the food was overpriced and portions were small. We ordered Pinakbet that only had a few slices of vegetables that was priced at 88 pesos. Place had monster mosquitos but it was clean. Food are cooked ahead and ordered carenderia-style.
