We got the roll set and katsu set. Really good. I’d say it’s affordable, lots of servings even. We only got those 2 sets for 3 people and we were full. I’d recommend this place. Ambiance needs a little improvement.
Food was just average. I was expecting a bit more because of their ‘authentic japanese’ restaurant vibe. Katsudon was dry and the Beef Yakiniku was just okay. Don’t eat here if you’re in a hurry because the serving time is a bit long (at least 30mins – during off peak hours). Service is a bit slow but understandable because the receptionist, cashier, server is just one person. I appreciated how she was very apologetic about the slow service.
The food is good however a bit pricey. Ambiance is okay. Service is not so good. They seem pretty understaffed. I would recommend the Lahug branch. They had better service and better ambiance.
Ate lunch here twice, had Chicken Nanbun set , and Pork cutlet in curry. The set meals has big servings, the pork cutlet in curry is very good, the curry sauce has also minced pork meat. The price is reasonable for the meals such as the pork cutlet in curry, Set meals is a bit pricy for me, but I think it is reasonable.Ice tea is too sweet,
The okonomiyaki is my guilty pleasure. Personally prefer it with the squid over the pork. The squid pieces they put in are huge and it’s so satisfying every time you bite into one, which is quite often.
Their Katsudon was quite balanced in taste. Not so sweet and not so salty as well. There was a nice balance of flavors especially with the addition of the red ginger was a welcome touch to the dish.
