Denny’s is what you would expect of a typical American breakfast diner. They mainly serve yummy breakfast food. Bacon and eggs is the perfect combo. A side of maple buttermilk pancake is also nice. Serving is usually good for 3 persons. Quite pricey but worth it every once in a while.
Service is poor. Very accommodating only once you get in, and that was it. After that, they dont mind if their guests want anything and they all just gather around the kitchen laughing among themselves. You have to really holler hard just to have your glass refilled (which is kind of urgent if you are eating high-salt content foods) or ask for a napkin. I ordered their pancake slam meal. Pancake was decent but the eggs, bacon, sausages are all salted eggs, overly salted bacon, overly salted sausages. Good thing i was too hungry to complain. & yeah its pricey to just let it go to waste.
When we visited they only had one thing available on the menu, so we had no choice but to order that. The food took 45 minutes to arrive because the staff were too busy chatting between themselves to serve to customers. We had to pick up our own food from the counter before it got cold! And it wasn’t even good. We all had a house breakfast combo and cooking the same items at home would be much easier, quicker, and tastier. Too expensive for what limp and soggy food we got. They didn’t have any selection of drinks either, we had to purchase some from the nearby grocery. Wouldn’t recommend.
I used to love this place but not tonight. The pork belly I ordered was 60% fat, can’t see the meat. The Bourbon Ribs has more bones. I feel like I was cheated
Their Nachos and Cajun Shrimp were dope! A must try if youre gonna visit. Cheers to their Chocolate Milkshake that felt like drinking pure chocolate hahaha will surely come back
Pricey. Friendly staff though. They don’t have available straws how sad for a fancy priced restau. Anyway ambiance is great. If you want an extravagant night dine here. I felt like it is so impractical to avail their bff card so unbecoming. Food is okay by the way.
Not the Denny’s i was expecting. Far from the quality of the Denny’s i usually eat at at Uptown Parade, BGC. Was excited when i found out they were opening Denny’s here in Cebu but it just didnt quite live up to my expectations. There should be quality control checks to make sure it lives up to the Denny’s standard. Hope over time this place improves
