A different take on halo-halo and it’s not the best.Serving is really small and service is really slow, by the time that it got to our table it was melting.Saddest halo halo I’ve ever eaten.Yes, they use a lot of milk.. but seriously? Their special consists of 3 pieces of thinly sliced banana, 2 tbsps of corn flakes, chocolate syrup, a white chocolate button, a few strips of buko, few pcs of marshmallow, sprinkles crush graham and the ice had already liquefied. Go to Hans’ Halo halo to get your money’s worth, it’s cheaper and has more ingredients.

Late night halo-halo cravings? Try here. But be prepared to be surprised because this is not your typical pinoy halo-halo. Theirs is perfect for someone who has a sweet tooth. It’s very colorful and will surely bring out the inner child in you. Very affordable. They have two branches in Brgy. Tisa. One is quite small while the other is fairly spacious but both places are always crowded. Guess that means a lot.

a different tale of halo-halo for me. plus, the serving is worth the price. the place is just along the road but expect it to be crowded too because it’s accessible. i bet you’ll find a hard time on getting a table here so just do a take out on the halo-halo.

I absolutely loved the concept Monbis has. They are serious in serving only one product, and that’s their signature halo-halo. Personally, I believe it’s a modern, no-fuss take on our usual Filipino halo-halo. I also think it’s perfect that they only serve one product. This means they can really perfect their ingredients and service. If you’re a traditionalist and prefer the original version of our halo-halo then you’ll be disappointed here. Their signature halo-halo is 75pesos per serving. They have their own signature shaved ice with a sort of strawberry cream flavor to it. On top of that they added choco chips, banana slices, crushed graham, frozen coconut strips, chocolate syrup.Their service is ok, which I understand still has its Cebuano vibe into it. When you’re here at the southern part of Cebu, particulary Labangon, then you can’t expect an all posh and preppy ambiance.Would come back to quench the cravings.

Pro: it is a different kind of a cold and sweet dessert.Con’s: if ur looking for the traditional halo-halo where Filipino’s are known for, this one’s not for u. Service is slow too.
