It was my first time trying out Tomo after hearing so many good reviews from different friends. I was really surprised at how big and nice the place is! It was like its own mini Japanese village inside which was really impressive! The food was really good too. I loved their Spicy Tuna and their best selling Kaki Cheese Yaki (grilled Oysters with Cheese)! The Tendon Donburi was also different compared to others because of their special sauce. I was also surprised to find out that the prices weren’t as expensive as I thought it would be. It was too bad that the scallops were already out, as they only order few amounts and are only available during Saturdays. The waitress advised us to have the scallops reserved on Friday night before eating on a Saturday. I can’t wait to try their other dishes!
Been wanting to try this Japanese joint. I passed by the area a lot and always notice the lanterns but there were no signages so i looked up at Google to find the name. So when we arrived, we were surprised how relaxing the area is. It’s like going to someone else’ house. We just walked in but good thing there were not much people that time. The food was exquisite. That Hokkaido Giant oyster were so worth the price. Will definitely go back here.
