excellent authentic lauriet chinese food and they have proven through time in their wilson st location. the last we ordered though, the situation was funnily frustrating when the cashier was late to work and no one else was allowed to accept payment. that is just clearly system breakdown. lapu lapu is cooked nicely. steamed crab was excellent. snapsnstories.blogspot.com

If you are a fan of Chinese food, you would know that the saying “Do not judge a book by its cover” always applies. Same with Tung Lo Wan. Upon arrival, interiors were unimpressive why would our family friend want to eat here? Then the answer came, they serve the best eel dish ever! The sauce itself can be used as ulam, and the eel was cleaned well and tastes good. Can’t wait to go back! #musttry @tung lo wan express

The place looks very Chinese, not because of any decor but because of the lack of it. It looked like n austere yet simply upscale cafeteria where the 1st-3rd Gen Chinoys converge. For one, their suahe was really laudable. It was sweet, fresh and simply divine. But, that was it! The crab meat lomi was not better than what I expected. There was little crb meat. The ox tail was nothing special too. And so was the yangchow. In all, the meal was forgettable. Add to that, the price was steep for the quality of the food they served.

Dined here for today with my family to have our lunch. Unfortunately, they offer minimal seating capacity for customers. If I’m not mistaken, they only have 4-5 Tables overall inside the restaurant. They also offer decent parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Staff members were also kind and even gave us complimentary dessert. Surprisingly, they offer reasonable and decent Chinese cuisines with just enough serving size.

I got the fried squid with salt and pepper. I was a tad disappointed because the squid was on the gummy side. It was hard to chew. Too bad because the flavor was there. I will go back but I will steer clear of this dish.

I was feeling a little bit adventurous so I tried their fried pigeon. The meat was good but I had a hard time getting it of the bone. It’s a good thing I had the eggplant with minced pork and salted fish to tide me over.

The fried lapu lapu in sweet and sour sauce was a success in my book. The crispy fish matched well with the sauce without being soggy. I enjoyed it along with the crab rice. The rice itself was a dish on its own but it took the meal to a whole new level.
