Coffee Syndicate is another hipster spot Cafe tuck in Commercenter Alabang. Full-length storefront windows, wooden tables, large wall mural and altogether very instagrammable. Perfect place to stuck into a really good book or even just catch up with friends. Breakfast is served all day, which means at any time the Coffee Shop is open, you can tuck into the best dishes on the menu. I got to try the very satisfying and very comforting platter, the Breakfast of Champions which consists of chorizo, bacon, pork & beans, egg and marbled potatoes. Also the Syndicate Grilled Cheese, It is accompanied by tomato house dip and salad. Everything neatly squeezed between slices of Sourdough. I particularly enjoy the salted egg croissant. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything much till I took a bite. It has perfectly balanced sweet-savory combination. The Chorizo pasta was ok, the taste was just little bland for my liking. The coffee menu features all the usual suspects. We had Flat white coffee and Cappuccino that go half-cold before we could drink it (for the purpose of flatlay and coffeeshots) but it still tasted good!

I found another chill spot in Alabang. This coffee shop opened last August and is located at Ground Floor Commerce Center, Filinvest Drive, Alabang Muntilupa City. They are open on Mondays from 8 am to 9 pm and Tuesdays to Sundays from 8am to 10 pm. What sets this coffee shop apart from the others is the chill and laid back vibe.A perfect place to slowdown while enjoying a good cup of coffee. They also serve delectable food and they have a wide variety of pastries to choose from.I ordered Cappuccino and blueberry cream cheese waffle. I really enjoyed the waffle, I really like the cream cheese filling. It complements the tanginess of the berries.RATING: ✨Place- 8/10✨Food – 10/10✨Price – 8/10
Finally a dedicated coffee shop in Commercenter. Coffee Syndicate’s opening is perhaps one of the best things to happen to this quaint community mall. Barely five months open, they are poised to be a destination cafe for those who love and support local. A partnership between coffee lovers and Decouverte Coffee Solutions, a supplier of high end coffee machines such as Unic Espresso Machines of France, Gaggia Milano of Italy and Iberital of Barcelona, Spain, Coffee Syndicate combines our homegrown beans with sophisticated machines to bring out the best flavor. They also offer complete coffee solutions to start ups and workshops for anyone who wish to learn the fine art of coffee. For this visit we had the pleasure of trying out some of their best selling items, first on this must eat is their Grilled Cheese Sandwich – it is unlike anything you’ve ever tasted thanks in part to the varied cheese used in the sandwich (no less than 5 variants in different flavors and textures) combined with the chewy sourdough bread, it is a filling and delicious meal nicely paired with the roasted baby potatoes on the side. The Tuna Sandwich is equally unique. None of that usual mayonnaise laden spread. Coffee Syndicate’s version is filled with nutty and salty flavor from the mixed in cheese. Again paired with sourdough bread and the marbled potatoes as side.Breakfast of Champs – true to its word, this is a jampacked meal perfect for those who are loading up on their proteins. The plate had eggs, thick cut bacon slabs, sausage, beans and a toast. The sausage was great, it was smoky, peppery, filled with spicy goodness.Eggs Ben – eggs, cured meat with hollandaise sauce on top of flaky croissant. For the drinks, go for the drip coffee to taste the best of our archipeligo’s coffee beans. They also offer different pastries and cakes – the Salted Egg Croissant is a must. Flaky croissant with a generous helping of salted egg cream and crumblings on top.Disclaimer: Sponsored dining by Coffee Syndicate.
Finally, a cafe in Commerce. Place is okay and staff were friendly. They serve good coffee and all were really presentable. Amount is pretty good too. Would come back to try their other coffee.
It’s not everyday that you see an owner cleaning the glass door of his very own shop. What impressed me when I visited the place was his passion & enthusiasm to share his knowledge about each product. The flat white I ordered & the americano my wife got were “smooth” (for lack of a better term) just the way we like them. I’ll try the house blend beans I bought with my french press for breakfast tomorrow.
