Looking to maximize value for money when taking a quick food break at NAIA 3? Try their beef tapa and coffee set (php 168 as of this writing). Non-airport priced food at the airport. The coffee is excellent, and the microwave beef tapa is pretty good. Might put a smile on your face after dealing with the ineptitude of NAIA 3 airport management coming in.
Take note that they have a 5% service charge which is not included in the prices on the menu. We ordered the grande hot chocolate (170 + 7.59 service charge = Php 177.59) and the taste resembled that of Happy Lemon’s cocoa drink sans the sweetness which is a good thing. The plain croissant (Php 100) though was a disappointment. It was dry and burnt. It also lacked the buttery taste and flaky texture of a proper croissant. By the way, their 500ml bottled water costs Php 80-85 here however, just a few steps away from this establishment (beyond Army Navy), there is a store that serves Filipino Food, they sell bottled water for only Php 25.Addendum: As of writing, they no longer serve the Arroz Caldo although there is still a photo of the same on their counter. The cashier said that they have no idea how to remove it hence, the poster stayed.
