Not a great experience with LUMU.Sisig was pretty good but serving was quite small.Bulalo was really tough and we asked to have it changed, they said they would, but they just reheated the dish.Since the bulalo was tough I asked for a knives for everyone, they gave me ONE and had to reitterrate that we all needed knives. For a high end place, you would assume that they would put extra effort to keep the place clean but we had cockroaches crawling on our table. I had to whack one with the bill. The place wasn’t packed when we ate, but it takes forever to get the attention of the waiters. After I paid the bill, the waitress just walks by and drops the receipt and my card by the side of the table beside my 13 yr old daughter.Kare kare was the only thing I had no complaints about.
Had Baby Squid Duet, Sisig Lomi Overload and Sizzling Chicken Dinakdakan; they’re all yum! The lomi’s my favorite though because of taste and price. Huge bowl that can be shared by 3-4 people.
Had a chance to try this restaurant out today and it was such a pleasant experience. Food was fantastic and enjoyable. I especially liked their ensalada with fried kangkong. Amazing!! Must try when you are here. Their bulalo was good as well. We also had their fried chicken and adobo ribs but these two are just ok for me.
I think this place is really underrated considering how good their food is. Tried the Bulaloko and LUMU Chicken Inasal. Surprised with their version of Bulalo, it was milky and the taste was just really pleasing to the palate. The Inasal was also commendable, I love how garlicky it was! Kinda pricey but surely worth it! (We just waited so long for the food and had a hard time calling the staff).
We ordered only two dishes: the house specialty Chicken Inasal and Pinakbet Fried Rice. Presentation was good but both were lacking in flavor. I could forgive lack of flavor because it’s healthy but the taste of the inasal could have improved better if it was marinated. The chicken just looked good because of its browning from being roasted. As a meal ender, I ordered coffee and it was served cold. I returned it because i wanted it hot and after 10 minutes, it arrived scalding hot from being microwaved. Criminal. Pls do not order their coffee
