April 9, 2017 || #1108 || A quiet spot in Marriott Manila.Located in the West Wing of Marriott Hotel Manila is STILL a laid-back tea and whisky lounge, that offers guests at this Tower a relaxing bright place in the afternoons and a drink centric bar during the evenings.We often visit here for desserts, a simple cake and a pot of tea is our usual order.Dark Chocolate Opera Cake (250+ PHP)Best paired with an Earl Grey, which is the very blend we chose for this dessert.Its premium price shouldn’t deter, the side of 2 macaron pieces already compensate, which would be 100 pesos separately at the pastry shop. The chocolate cake is as expected for the premium, well made with good ingredients.AMBIANCEA direct view of the lush golf course and manicured garden of Marriott is what to expect.Value added services include; complimentary use of iPads (subject to availability) and WiFi Internet. eater.ph
