The Jeon Ju restaurant I’m about to review is the one located in Aguirre, BF Homes.I love the ambiance, and the way they have different private rooms for some customers, but the aircon in our room is dysfunctional. The side dishes for the samgyeopsal is in a buffet style, and the meat are the only ones being distributed. All in all, great food, but the restaurant itself is not that well maintained.

BF BRANCHWell masayang simula ang ganap. Pansin ko medjo tumaas ng presyo pero dapat lng kse lahat mataas eh. Buffet ang peg dto parang bahay na bahay lng. Pero ung beef iserve sayo. Luma itsura ng lugar pero malinis.O eto na. Ung inordoer ng mama nyo ay yung unli pork at beef. Syempre beef ang niratsada nmn kesa sa pork. Gold medalist ang first 2 plates ng beef kht super frozen. Eto ka nung pangatlo kme napakapit. Wlang naginform sa amin na may lahing goma pla sa kunat ung ibang beef nla. Frozen dn ubg 3rd plate pero prang mga 6months na sya sa freezer. Feeling ko kumain ako ng matandang ingkong na baka sa sobrang kunat Malakas ang pakiramdam ko na mukhang matatagalan ako sa banyo bukas sa sobrang hirap na sermonyas na gagawin ko. Di na nmn inubos si 3rd bka kse si 4th mala aspalto na sa tigas. Lahat ayos except si 3rd. Syang akala ko with flying colors and pot of gold ang rating. Bawi na lng ult. Babbboooooo
We ordered seafood soup and bulgogi sambap. The serving is quite big. The taste us very authentic Korean cooking. It’s like eating in a house of a Korean neighbor. It’s very good for its price. The service from staff is just okay. My rating is just for the food alone. Today is our second time to eat in this place. And would definitely pick this one again if ever I would want to eat Korean food in Malate in the future. You will also notice that many Korean customers, a sign that the food here is really good.
Good samgyupsal but very poor service. We were told all the side dishes were unlimited, and they gave tiny portions and whenever we ask for refill they would take around 10-15 minutes before serving them. The waitresses are not smiling and would drag their feet towards us, also not attentive, we had to ask 2-3 times before they give us a refill (the place wasn’t even busy), and when we are speaking, they would turn their back to us mid-sentence; very disrespectful. The waitress even reasoned out with us while we spoke with the manager, who by the way, was also not very helpful. She was the one who told us the side dishes were unlimited but ended up making an excuse that their cook counts the side dishes by grams per group, what does that even mean? And she was also very cocky early on, we asked for a refill and she immediately told us she doesn’t take orders and that she’s the manager. What?We were planning to buy another set of samgyupsal but decided not to after losing our appetite with how our service was going. We ended up paying and just leaving. Will never go back to this restaurant.
