If you want to get that nostalgic feel, this is the place to be. Since my aunt is a frequent customer here, the staff already knows her so my first experience was superb. I like the aesthetic feel especially how the owner incorporated his/her hobby with his/her business. Vinyl records, antique objects (even an old telephone) decorate the entire place. Not your usual retro place. Kind of small but ideal for small denomination meetings and family gatherings. (9.5/10)’Food is amazing. (9/10) You should try their Paella. I also liked their kamote chips. It’s a good appetizer while waiting for the main course. Staff (10/10) very responsive and helpful. They even played music from a genre that was requested by my aunt. Idk if it’s because of the reason that my aunt and the staff are already amigas. Price (8.5/10) A bit pricey for me but I think the services compensate well.

I’m giving La Scala Museum Cafe a rating of 5 since I really enjoyed my first visit here! The interior/ atmosphere gives you the vintage feels. It’s as if I went back in time the moment I stepped in the cafe! It houses various vintage things collected and carefully preserved. I was amazed seeing those old stuff- like the analog camera, old telephone, typewriter, violin, jukebox, and so much more! Aside from this, the food they served were great. We had Paella, Salpicao, Gambas, Sizzling Sisig, Buffalo Wings, Banana Split, and Mango Crepe! Their refreshments include Four Seasons, Cookies and Cream Shake, Mocktails, and Cocktails! Honestly, everything on the table was delicious and flavorful! As in! I’m pretty sure people from all walks of life will enjoy dining and hanging out in La Scala Cafe. They offer rooms where you can have private functions and even enjoy KTV! Awesome, right? La Scala Museum Cafe is a hidden gem in Manila. But t doesn’t have to stay hidden!

This place is decorated with vintage collectibles and plays such good old music. This is my mom’s go-to place when inviting a big group of people to eat and enjoy the authentic atmosphere.

Genuinely vintage. It’s a time space warp to the old Manila back to perhaps the World War II. La Scala is a hidden gem in the outskirts of Malate. It’s at the second floor of some low rise building filled with everything old – jukeboxes, photographs of Old Manila, evolution of Coca Cola bottles through the years, an old microphone, and all sorts of vintage collectibles. The amazing thing about the collection is that all of them are actually working up to this moment! I’ve been here thrice, and never been disappointed ever since. I’ve tried a few of their dishes including the specialty of the house – paella. It was not as sticky and moist as I was expecting but nevertheless filling and tasty. Value for money is tops. Service is superb. Would definitely recommend and come back! I would suggest this place as a venue for prenup photos with a vintage twist.

La Scala has a multitude of collectibles especially from DC comics and coke products. Therefore you will surely not get bored while waiting for your food. There are roomful of collectible to see and you will surely hope that you were born on that era. The food are great and reasonable with some unique twist especially the sizzling pusit and the Kaldereta
