Slow service, staff lacked product knowledge (they don’t know anything about the noodle doneness), overpriced, place was too cramped to move, and had terrible ventilation.

This was a new place I saw on facebook that my boyfriend and I wanted to try since we were always around the area. I saw that it was very affordable for students. We ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Naijiro Red Ramen.Food – ☆☆☆☆☆ 5/5It was well worth the price. Surprisingly good despite the low prices.Ambiance – ☆☆☆☆ 4/5I’m giving this a 4 because at night it looks wonderful. During the day though, it tends to be very hot since there is no airconditioning, it doesn’t really pair up to eating hot ramen if the day is sunny. Also, seats are limited since it’s a small place.Service – ☆☆☆☆ 4/5We were seated right away but I’m rating it a 4 due to the fact that when I ordered Miso Ramen, and the guy was already finished taking our order, another customer was ordering Miso as well and I overheard the lady server say that there is no Miso for that day. So I called the attention of the guy server and told him that I had heard that there was no Miso. He apologized and I just ordered the Tonkatsu. I believe he was new and there is still room for improvement. Lastly, I believe he was not informed of the ramen gyoza combo where in 30 pesos for the gyoza. He said it was still 60 pesos.

Tried this ramen place because it was hyped back then but I was disappointed. First off, I didn’t like the waitress’ attitude because she was not being friendly and accommodating at all even though we were the only people during that time (around 6pm). The food portion was just average, kulang sa sangkap especially the meat ang liit pa ng size, good thing the soup was actually good pero for 120-150 pesos honestly I don’t think it was worth it. Other food chains have bigger portions for the price of 120. I wanna add something pa, they didn’t even open the exhaust fan so it was too hot we had to use our own pamaypay pa. Anyways hopefully they’ll make changes soon, may potential naman sana eh because the place is nice kahit maliit yung pwesto.

Got the large Tonkotsu Ramen✔Nice interiors✖Sweet slices of chasu (not my type. Asked staff if this was suppose to be sweet. They said yes. And this used on all their ramens with chasu slices)✖Thin broth✔Generous serving of noodles, not too soft or hard✖Price is cheap at first look, but comparing to other ramen places with Php 120-200 range, it’s kind of expensive.

Tried Ramen Naijiro out of curiosity and for 120pesos this is not authentic overwhelming ramen you would recommend but something to fill a hungry tummy. The broth was flavorful but rather thin. The noodles was way too soft, like soggy angel hair pasta that is so overcooked, it is sticking together. Meat was a paper thin three sliced. Overcooked and tough. I liked the added black fungus. Service was good and the food is skating between a thin line of decency. For the price it is budget friendly but keep your expectations below average.

Been hearing lots of rave about this place and it was about time for me to finally check it out. It’s a rather quaint little place that you probably will miss if you weren’t looking for it, thank you for their bright red lanterns to help with that. The place is situated along a rather sketchy area but overall safe. However, if you’re sensitive with stench of Manila then best to bring your trusty hanky with you. The space is pretty limited with about 7-8 people capacity inside the restaurant itself and about 8 outside. We opted to seat inside because there were noisy children running around at that time, which was 8pm. I purchased their large shoyu ramen for 160 and my friend had their regular tantanmen for 130. There wasn’t any gyoza left so we weren’t able to order that. The broth was good, it’s absolutely flavorful. The noodles were nice and not what I was expecting, but it’s rather quite soft for my own liking so I hope they ask for the customer preference next time. The meat is absolutely tough and bland which is a big let down for me, I didn’t even have any of it. Their egg is just a plain soft boiled egg and does not have flavor unlike in most ramens. The sprouts were also plain which didn’t quite add up to the entirety of the ramen. However, you’d be full and relatively happy. Good food for its price. Will probably visit gain if I had a craving for ramen and dont have the budget to blow.
