Since we live near this place, coming back here happens more often than not. This isn’t my first visit but rather my first review of this on Zomato. The family including me were always satisfied with whatever we order from here. So we’re not surprised that it is crowded with groups and families everytime. We had Garlic Spinach, Cold cuts appetizer, Lapu Lapu, & Yang Chow. I must say all of these is good and a must try on your visit.

What we ordered: Salt and Pepper Spareribs, Platter of Coldcuts, YangChow, Chopseuy, Braised Lapu-Lapu in Soy Sauce, HK Choysum, Mango Sago (for Dessert)Pros: Food is good, my favorite was the Salt and Pepper Spareribs. The place is clean. We were seated quickly despite the crowd due to the day being Father’s day. Cons: Waiters and servers are not that attentive when you try to catch their attention. There’s no line when you’re waited to be seated; we needed to talk to the receptionist to remind her that we were in line. My initial order should’ve had 2 Shrimp Dumplings (hakaw) but it never arrived despite a number of follow-ups. Overall: the service isn’t that great but it was compensated by good food. Nevertheless, there are other places that are equally good without having to sacrifice good service.

Pretty Good! We enjoyed the hot and sour soup: it had that Tabasco kick and goodness in it; the salted egg crab was a treat too! Next time, we can hopefully try their duck and other roast meat.Addendum: We originally planned to go to the Dampa restaursnts right across the road but the power line on the side was down which meant no air-conditioning on a very hot summer day.

My family had lunch here at Hong Kong Chef. I enjoyed their Seafood with Spinach Soup. This is what I always look for when dining at a Chinese restaurant and not all serve this particular soup. I’m happy that they have this and it didn’t disappoint. Food was served fast too.

One of the better looking restaurants in the the bay area. Tasty, authentic Chinese Hong Kong food as well as a really nice ambience. Their shrimp dishes are particularly excellent. A place you must visit!
